THE UNIFORM

The uniform or dobok is prescribed for Taekwondo training, competitions, and other events. It can also show the rank of a player, signified by the color of the uniform's collar:

• White Collar (Dobok) - for whitebelts to brownbelts

• Black-Red Collar (Poom Dobok) -for blackbelts 15 years old and below

• Black Collar (Dan Dobok) -for blackbelts above 15 years old.

TYPES OF UNIFORM

      A. Kyorugi Dobok - this v-neck or pull-over style uniform is used for sparring competitions. This dobok iss also used for training, promotion tests, and other   

                                           Taekwondo events.

      B. Poomsae Dobok- this y-neck or wrap-over style uniform is prescribed for poomsae activities and competitions. The colors of the Poomsae Dobok itself

                                            also differ to show the player's rank and gender.
